IQF FROZEN ARTICHOKE
Green House Valley provides all kinds of processed artichokes; artichoke bottoms, hearts and quarters with a very knowledgeable about all styles of production and has the precious “know-how” concerning the secrets of the production of this rich vegetable.
Our main concern is the final consumer. Besides all varieties of bottoms, hearts, halves and quarters, We are unique in supplying artichokes for stuffing, purée of artichoke, and artichoke cream. Moreover, the artichoke heart is processed from a small tender variety of artichokes known in Egypt as the French Artichoke or "Petite Violette".
Our Artichoke is cultivated from the best quality seeds. It is picked and frozen fast to preserve the simple goodness nature intended. We offer our consumers several types of processed artichokes: bottoms, hearts, quarters and cubes as well as artichoke slices, artichoke broken and artichoke with the stem.
Green House Valley Supplies Numerous Kinds of Artichokes as Follows:
- Artichoke Bottoms (3 to 5cm - 5 to 7cm - 7 to 9cm).
- Artichoke Hearts: cleaned from the inside for stuffing.
- Artichokes in Halves and Quarters.
- Blanched Artichokes with leaves before the manually peeling procedure.
- Artichoke in Slices for pizzas and salads.
- Artichoke Dices for topping or dipping.
- Artichokes in Triangles pieces for pizzas and salads.
- Blanched Artichokes without leaves after the manually peeling procedure.
Ingredients:
Garden fresh frozen Artichokes. No additives.
To store:
Artichokes stay fresh up to 24 hours when stored in a cold place or up to expiry date when stored at -18°C.
Cooking Suggestion:
Brown medium-size sliced onion and 1/2 kg minced meat, Add 2 tbsp. tomato paste, l/2 cup of water. Place mixture in frozen artichokes, and place on a bed of diced carrots in a shallow cooking dish. Spoon on bouillon cube dissolved in water. Place dish in medium heat over 10 minutes.
